I wasn't going to either but then I saw the trees on the mountain and I was like "YES". When you press print-screen, where do the pics go?

Phase One Complete.

Finally got to where I wanted to be be Single player.

Built after I had turned the lava into obby.
Spoiler:
Except for the spring. The sping was put into the first expansion of the house.

Finally got the Omega shaft Glasses Up completely. But I am only 8 blocks deep.
Spoiler:

I put a small 5x5 extension of the house for this:
Spoiler:

It is a natural cave system that I have done nothing to other than mine some ores and turn the lava into obby.

Thia is my Tree Garden:
Spoiler:

Not much to say. It just is what it is.

Mineshaft One was built under the original foundation of the house:
Spoiler:

And here we are back up at the top of a hill where I built the Omega Shaft Overlook:
Spoiler:
This time we are overlooking my house in it's current state:

Future plans? I will eventually expand my house again to include the future spot of Mineshaft Omicron Psi. It should be about 3 times the size of the Omega Shaft (Gonna have to take out part of a mountain to make it though >.>). If you think I should make anything else just let me know. Glass is my main source of building materials (until I can get a crap load of obby).

Update Omicron Psi

Spoiler:

The lights kinda fade off into the distance but there is and end to it.

Also found another epic mineshaft but have died twice from creeper explosions and have lost 2 diamond pick axes and a bunch of steel tools, along with about 300 torches 90 coal and 40 iron ore. So I am kinda starting form scratch. Not gonna go back there for a while. too much death.

Re: What's your Singleplayer World like?

Please if you feel like tl;dr just don't mention it. Thank you.

For starters during the first night I mine strait down in my starter home creating stairs as I go down. When I get deep enough I expand in one direction to create a shaft. I then decided depending on how big my starter house is how wide and long I want the shaft to be. I then proceed to dig strait down to rock bottom. After I hit rock bottom I then choose to either dig North, South, East, or West in a strait line 4 or 5 high. If one of them turns out to be five high I will just go back and fix the ones that aren't. If I have been digging in one direction and haven't found some sort of cave system I will go back and dig in the opposite direction. If I don't find anything in that direction I pick another and then again the last. All during this time I find a suitable place to stat digging one of my bigger mine shafts. I will dig this out 3-4 deep and then put a roof of glass over top so sunlight can get in but monsters cannot. It usually takes a bit of tweaking cause there will be spots where they can still get through. After I've dug it out a bit I will got to explore to find Natural cave systems trying to find extremely extensive ones. I usually bring enough sticks to make more torches as I find coal. I also bring a work bench with in case I need more tools. After I find a lot of resources and completely explore the cave I will return to my home and start building a walkway to the the cave so that I may go to and come form it day or night. When I get bored of that I challenge myself with little projects. For instance I built some stairs going up to my Overlook. And then I usually end up taking a very close area that is rather flat and mining out the entire thing; i.e. Omicron Psi.

In this case Omicron Psi had a cave system just below the surface which has made me very happy.

delacroix3227 wrote:So then....the game ate my save....it griefed the project I was working on completely ruining it.....I'm quite pissed.

The game crashed and I lost part of the cave that I was exploring. It was that cave I had kept dieing in. I decided to go explore it one more time and was successful in exploring maybe 1/3 of it, which took all of 3 hours and that's when the game crashed. It is a big cave system. I think it might take up most of the continent that I am on and also lead out under the ocean. Well anyway, I lost a bout half of the 1/3 I had explored, but I did not lose my items which is weird. I went and explored a part I had explored but was now unexplored, and it had stuff I had already mined. So a lot of mining work down the drain but it seems there will be profit if I am successful in re-mining it.

On a side note I built a chimney (like a week ago). For so reason I had the urge to put stairs in my house to get on the roof. I built a small glass room on top of my house. I put in a door. I was compelled to do this for no apparent reason. I then proceeded to put in a door. Then I made stairs along the outside of the chimney spiraling to the top. I then made the cut little hole in the top (to see out? idk). I forgot there was a hole in the middle which ran down to the incinerator. I fell. Burned to death. and then my items burned.... I went to my re-spawn went back in my house and logged out. Severely pissed, because I Still don't know why I made stairs to get on my roof and the up the side of the chimney.

EDIT: This rant cooled me down a bit though.

Think I'm gonna start a new world. That whole falling into my own incinerator deal kinda put me off my current world. kinda sucks actually, but think I'll start anew.
