What's your Singleplayer World like?

Post  MrUmibozu on Wed Oct 20, 2010 3:36 pm

Just for funsies with the server down. I just started a new world.... I have a big ol' treehouse with a ladder mineshaft Smile its built upon a few stacked trees on a little mountain, but the mine shaft and treehouse are in two different parts of the trees and I need to connect them.

Lol, I turned my treehouse into a treehouse island. It's bordering a bay and i created a moat around it Smile I found lava! Underground. Once I add a boathouse I might take pics.

a castle on top of a hill that i took all of the floors off of lol (seemed useless..still is) and steps down through the mountain where i can go to my mine or go to my "playground" where i experiment with minecart tracks and circuitry. there is also another place you can go out of my castle where you go down an automatic minecart track and it brings you to my underwater glass city (in progress)
im also planning on moving my main area from my castle to either my underwater city or making a hidout in the mountain... i might make a new world and start over because its not a good spot for awsome buildings and stuff.. its really mountany

I just found a natual cave beside my house. Decided to link my house to it so I could explore whenever I felt like it. Only came across a skele and 2 zombies while exploring. I now have a diamond pickax, and full steel armor. I've seen about 50 redstone blocks in this cave. I used somewhere around 150 torches while exploring it. And there is probably about 200-300+ Blocks of obsidian ready to be mined down there.

Holy SHIT tmc. That's pretty crazy.

So Skylands is more adventure than building, but I've been watching a movie instead (Frost/Nixon!). I'm going to try my first dungeon later Smile.

Overlooking the future place of Mineshaft: Omega

Kinda looks like a whale.

EDIT:

That tiny speck of light in the background is the other side of the mine shaft. I also want it to be about the same length and width.
